Terms of Use
Steel Games is operated by Lonestar PPS, LLC ("we"). These terms apply to the Steel Games app and website. By creating an account or using Steel Games, you agree to them.
What Steel Games does
Steel Games compares prices for games and gaming gear and links you to outside stores and retailers. We don't sell games or products ourselves. Your purchase is between you and the store you buy from, and that store's terms, refund policy and prices apply. Prices shown in Steel Games can change at any time; the store's checkout shows the final price.
Key resellers
Some listings come from key resellers and marketplaces, which are not official stores. They are labeled separately. Refunds and problems with those keys are handled by the reseller, not by the game's publisher or by Steel Games.
Affiliate links
Many links in Steel Games are affiliate links. When you buy through them, Steel Games may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Steel Games earns from qualifying purchases.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account.
Community rules: zero tolerance
Steel Games has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post:
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or encouragement of violence
- Sexual content, or any content involving minors in a sexual way
- Spam, scams, phishing links, or offers to sell accounts or keys
- Content that infringes someone else's rights
- Fake reviews, or reviews of products you haven't used
You can report any post or review and block any member. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and remove accounts that post it.
Your posts
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Steel Games permission to display it in the app and on the website. Reviews, messages and comments are public under your username.
Verified Buyer badges
Verified Buyer badges apply to gear only. We grant one after reviewing a receipt you upload. Submitting a fake or altered receipt will get your account removed.
Steel Points
- Points are earned on eligible purchases made through Steel Games links, once the store confirms the purchase. Not every store is eligible.
- Returned or cancelled purchases don't earn points, and points already credited for them may be removed.
- Squad bonus: when the required number of squad members buy the same squad game through Steel Games at an eligible store within the bonus window, each confirmed buyer gets bonus points. Stores set their own prices; the squad bonus is paid in Steel Points, not as a discount at checkout.
- Points have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and are deleted with your account.
- We may change rewards, point values and tiers, or end the program, with notice in the app.
No warranty
Steel Games is provided as is. We work to keep prices and information accurate but can't guarantee it. To the extent the law allows, Steel Games isn't liable for purchases you make at outside stores or for content posted by other members.
